Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to The Blake Church of England School!

Within this welcoming and inclusive school questions are encouraged and other world views are accepted and celebrated.  Children are expected to respect, challenge and inspire one another and to act courteously and generously towards one another.

Embedded Christian values foster learning that develops children's personal, social and emotional skills, developing and sustaining well-being as well as equipping them with skills for living well with their peers.

All children at this school are aware that they are unique individuals whose value is intrinsic and not determined by outward success or achievement.  Children, whatever their circumstance or level of need are welcomed, nurtured and enabled to thrive, recognising their part both in the school community and wider society.

Our curriculum, enhanced by trips, visitors, sport, music, arts events and extra-curricular activities is designed to give children every opportunity to become independent engaged learners and to develop and succeed, whatever their passion, skills or interests.  Children are supported by the skilled staff team to face learning challenges with resilience and confidence and to learn pride in their personal achievements.

To find out more about this very special school please come and visit us; you will be warmly welcomed.  Please call the school office and arrange to come and look around. I look forward to meeting you and spending time talking with you.
